Airplanes and Baseball

We had a crazy fun summer weekend!  (Except for the big painting project I started Thursday afternoon that's still not finished...)

Saturday we spent the day at the airshow.
Since Levi is so into rockets right now, we thought he'd love all the planes and their cool tricks.  Did he ever! Pretty sure his mouth was open in amazement when the Red Bull plane started the show off!

It was a perfect day!
Sunny and warm, with a nice breeze.  Clear sky so we could see everything perfectly.
Neither Gabe or I had been to the show before, so it was a neat first experience for all of us.
This little plane actually cut that ribbon while inverted!
Pretty awesome!

And of course you can't forget the jets.  The finale of the show!
(Due to the government sequestration, the usual big guys weren't able to be there this year.)
The Patriot Team was a good stand in.  It's pretty amazing what they can do!

Everyone had a great time.  Even though it was a long, hot day!

Sunday we went to the baseball game with my family.
It was Levi and Elijah's first baseball game!
Levi was really excited for his first baseball experience.

Elijah...not so sure.  But everyone is ready for the game to start.

The Hops lost (big time), but we all had fun cheering them on anyway.

Busy and eventful summer weekends make me happy.  Endless painting projects?  Not so much!
