I'm happy to report we both finished and are going to use our times to improve at the race next month. Strangely, they haven't published official race times yet. It surprises me because they now have these timing chips that should make the process easier.
Here we are staying dry under a tree before the race started.

We also got to celebrate baby Elijah's first birthday this weekend!
Can't believe it's been a year. Sure wish we could slow down the clock every once in a while.
Levi wanted to capture the excitement as well.
I haven't checked yet to see how his photos turned out.
We sure are looking forward to the long holiday weekend coming up!
That means summer is literally right around the corner.
