This is half of one of the pomegranates that was left over from our Christmas party. I'd never really seen one, let alone eaten one until I met Heidi. In fact, these are the first ones I've ever purchased. I can't believe how popular they have gotten, I mean, there's a 7-Up that's pomegranate flavored! After reading about them in the Wikipedia article, and seeing an episode of Good Eats where they were featured, I can see why they've become popular. They are tasty, and pretty good for you. But, what fresh fruit isn't?-G
