As I was browsing around this evening I stumbled onto Metaefficient, a review site of sorts that focuses on efficient and green products. It's got a pretty broad cross section of reviews in it's index, mostly stuff that we use everyday, not just specialized "green" products. One item that I looked at that Heidi and I have been discussing is rainwater storage. Basically a barrel you catch rain in to be used in the summer to water plants. I also read the review of the newest rechargeable batteries since the ones we're using right now are a few years old and don't hold much of a charge. When I do decide they're done, I'll be sure to recycle them.
